Welcome. I am Sian, the owner, operator and guide behind Busselton Walking Tours here in beautiful Busselton, Western Australia.
Originally from the UK, I settled in Busselton several years ago and quickly fell in love with the mix of coastal beauty, rich heritage and vibrant community spirit. My guiding journey began back in 2008 when I led tours across Europe, and my background as a qualified history teacher shaped the way I tell stories, connect people to place and bring history to life. Those experiences inspired me to share that same passion here in my new home.
As a historian, I am fascinated by the way people, culture and environment influence one another. I love exploring how those connections shape communities and uncovering the moments that have contributed to the Busselton we see today.
I believe walking is one of the most meaningful ways to experience a place. It is gentle, sustainable and allows you to slow down enough to truly notice what is around you. Through my tours, I aim to share more than dates and facts. My goal is to reveal the stories, layers and character of Busselton, from its Indigenous heritage to its settler past and the people who continue to shape it today.
